Today, I'm doing something slightly different. This post will be the beginning of my posting of the Apologetics class I'll be teaching for the next few months. There should, hopefully, be one a week, with the handout being attached as a link to a pdf, and the audio of the class being attached as a link to a downloadable mp3.
The pdf handout can be found here, and the mp3 can be found here. The dialogue runs from the beginning to about the 7:30 mark. After that is a discussion of the dialogue, followed by the lesson material starting around 12:00.

Each week, we will begin with a script. Most of these scripts are adapted into coffee house style dialogues, and are adapted from CARM's apologetics dialogues, which are online conversations. Each week, two(sometimes more) volunteers will read their respective parts, in order to allow for us to discuss what is good practice, and what is less effective in apologetic conversations. The script for this week was a discussion on whether it is right to tell someone that what they believe is false. We then began the class with a broad look at apologetics, its goals, methods, and outcomes. We also looked at different belief forms, ranging from atheism through orthodox Christian beliefs.
